I'm Aija Suuta. Born in Philidelphia, raised in Grand Rapids Michigan, recent transfer to New York City. I'm a student at Parsons the New School of Design and plan on majoring in Fashion Design. I intend to work through second year to see how Fashion fits in my life as a career. The City comes to me as inspiration through its inhabitants. I sometimes wonder why someone would want to ever live here and sometimes I wonder how someone could ever leave.
I really know nothing. Art and politics, culture and why the way things are and how to change them for the better; these are things I want to learn here. I want to meet people and build connections. I want to feel that I'm contributing art and design for the better and that there is a need for my aesthetic of clothing, design, or whatever I end up doing in the end
